How can I use WideBight?
WideBight is offered exclusively as a SaaS solution. The abbreviation SaaS stands for "Software as a Service". This means that you only make a monthly payment for your WideBight license.
What technical requirements do I need to work with WideBight?
On the server side you don't need to worry about anything, because WideBight is hosted as a SaaS solution on our high-performance servers in Germany. All you need for the editorial work is an Internet connection and a current browser. This also applies to your participants. An Internet connection and a modern browser are sufficient.
Are the created trainings suitable for mobile devices?
Yes, you have full control over the look and feel of your workouts on tablets or smartphones. Alternative content can be created for each display size.
Is the number of participants limited?
No. We offer different types of licenses and are happy to make you an individual offer.
Is the number of trainings limited?
No. Depending on your desired license, there is no limit to the number of trainings.
What are the costs for hosting?
None. The hosting costs are already part of your WideBight license. This means for you: no costs for hosting and traffic, no costs for e-mail traffic, no domain fees for the main domain of your learning portal. Even an SSL certificate for your main domain is included.
Is my data safe?
Yes, we host our customer data exclusively on dedicated high-performance servers in German data centres. In addition, a daily backup of your data is carried out.
How much training is required for working in WideBight?
Little. We offer our customers targeted training for editors and administrators. The training for editors usually takes half a day, the training for an administrator one day.
Do you also offer the training courses in-house?
Yes, we carry out the training courses either in your company or at our premises.
Can the user interface be adapted to the corporate design of our company?
Of course. We implement the basic layout. The fine-tuning of the layout can be done in the administration area.
How much does WideBight cost?
We will be happy to make you a personal offer.
Can I test WideBight?
Of course. Please contact us and we will be happy to create a test account for you.
What about updates?
All updates or major updates are included in the basic license and are installed as desired.
Can I include Flash animations in my training?
We are afraid not. Since Flash technology has not been supported by many browsers (especially on mobile devices) for quite some time, we did not consider Flash technology during development.
